The Disney Cruise Line© just announced a lot of information and we could not be more excited!!!! I wanted to share some details with you that we learned today!
The biggest question we are asked is WHEN, WHEN, WHEN can we sail on this ship??? Well, the biggest question has been answered! The inaugural sailing of the Disney Wish will be on June 9, 2022. Reservations will begin on May 17, 2021 for select Castaway Club members and on May 27, 2021 for all guests. The Disney Wish will sail 3- and 4-night cruises from Port Canaveral. These cruises will stop at Nassau, Bahamas and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

One of the things we are asked for most often is connecting rooms. The good news is that the new Disney Wish will have 1254 staterooms total and 900 of them will be connecting. There will be more concierge staterooms on this ship including 2 story suites and 7 concierge staterooms at the front of the ship, right over the bridge. Talk about having the best view ever!!!!
When it comes to recreation, this will be the place to be. One of the most exciting areas of this ship will be the pool deck. The front of the ship will have a Toy Story themed Splash Zone for the little ones and the family pools will be in the mid-ship. New to this ship will be the Aqua Mouse, a wild water adventure with music and visual track. This two minute adventure will have you flying high above the ship with outstanding views. This attraction will be for guests who are a minimum of 42″.
The three rotational dining venues will be:
-1923- named after the year that the Disney Studios was formed, this restaurant will be sophisticated and feature California cuisine
-Arendelle- a dining and live performance experience with the characters from Frozen, picking up where Frozen 2 left off, this will be an engagement celebration in the round
-World of Marvel- a dining adventure where you become the hero
Yeah, so there is that……(I get to be a hero!!!)
There will be not one but two cinemas. If you happen to be on board when a Disney movie is released, you will be among the first to see it! The Grand Hall will have a stage, a new feature for this ship. There are no seats in this area so I assume that this area will feature shorter performances. Luna and Hero Zone will be the main hubs for family activities all day.
