Disney announced that the Disney Dining Plans would be back a few weeks ago and I have been happily awaiting their arrival since then! As expected, Disney announced all of the details today with the new 2024 Disney World packages. Here is all that you need to know!
The Disney Dining Plans were temporarily suspended in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with other operational adjustments implemented by Disney World. However, with the ongoing progress in managing the global health crisis, Disney has now re-introduced these dining packages, much to the delight of park-goers. Up until they were cancelled, they were immensely popular!!!! About 90% of the clients who booked a Disney package with me also purchased a dining plan.
For many guests, dining at Disney World is an integral part of the vacation experience. The Disney Dining Plans allow visitors to pre-purchase meal packages, providing them with the opportunity to savor delectable meals at a variety of participating restaurants across the Walt Disney World Resort. From quick-service meals to fine dining experiences, these plans cater to different tastes and dietary requirements.
Plan Options to Suit Every Palate
Disney offers two dining plans now, each designed to accommodate different preferences and budgets.
Let’s take a look at the options:
- Quick-Service Dining Plan: Ideal for guests seeking a more casual dining experience, this plan includes two quick-service meals per day, along with one snack and a refillable resort mug.
- Disney Dining Plan: This plan allows guests to enjoy one quick-service meal, one table-service meal credit, and one snack per day, as well as a refillable resort mug.
Adults are ages 10 and up and children are ages 3-9. Children age 2 and under do not qualify for a dining plan but they can eat off another guest’s plate at no charge. Most restaurants at Disney World, including all of the restaurants in the resorts, accept the dining plans. Either dining plan can be added to any Disney World package starting January 9, 2024 or later. Guests who are staying at a non-Disney resort are not eligible for the dining plan.
Here are the prices:
Adult Disney Dining Plan $94.28 per person, per night of your stay
Child Disney Dining Plan $29.69 per person, per night of your stay
Adult Quick Service Dining Plan $57.01 per person, per night
Child Quick Service Dining Plan $23.83 per person, per night
Benefits of the Disney Dining Plans

Important Considerations
While the reintroduction of Disney Dining Plans is undoubtedly exciting, it’s essential to keep in mind that table service restaurants can be popular and fill up quickly. Advanced dining reservations, which can be made up to 60 days in advance, are recommended.
